- What is Alpine Winter Festival?

We’re a 3-week long family friendly winter wonderland festival offering you all the goodness of a European Christmas Market, right in the heart of Glenelg. Showcasing art, music, markets and wintery activities, you’ll be able to spend hours exploring what’s on offer, with something for everyone!
- When and where is the festival held?

Alpine Winter Festival is running for three weeks between the 25th June – 18th July. Held on the foreshore of Glenelg, with entry through Moseley Square.
- How do I get there?

Public transport can conveniently take you right to the Alpine Winter Festival, with your choice of either bus or Tram. Glenelg also offers a large range of parking options.
- Is it all ages?

We cater for all at the Alpine Winter Festival, with something on offer for the young, the old, and the young at heart.
- Do I need a ticket to enter?

Sunday to Thursday FREE ENTRY
Friday to Saturday FREE ENTRY ($10 after 7pm or FREE with an ice skating ticket or Roberta’s booking or if under 18)

Alpine Winter Festival is a cashless venue – tap your way to a fab night out.
All of our door sales, bars and food vendors are cashless. Bring an EFTPOS, debit or credit card for a guaranteed great time. - How much is ice skating?

We recommend booking ice skating tickets online to avoid missing out!
Tickets will be available to purchase at the rink until sold out. - Are there public toilets and bathroom facilities?

Yes there are accommodating toilet facilities at Alpine Winter Festival.
- Is there shelter in case of bad weather?

We know just how unpredictable weather in Adelaide can be, so we have accommodated for just that! With additional shelter and cover, we plan to not let anything get in the way of enjoying what we’ve got on offer.
- What should I wear?

We’ve got you covered with fire pits, but it is winter… rug up to make the most of your experience at Alpine Winter Festival!
- What food and drink options are there?

We’ve put together a specially curated line up of eats and drinks to keep you coming back for more! Accommodating for all walks of life, there’s something on offer for everyone!
- Who should I contact for lost property?

- Will wet weather affect my ice skating booking?

To accommodate for all weather, we have incorporated a half covered skating rink, so that in the chance of wet weather you will still be able to enjoy your skating experience!
In the event of an extreme weather emergency we will consult with our safety supervisor & South Australian Police and, if for the safety of our patrons, it’s recommended we should close, we will do so.
- Does Alpine winter Festival have a Covid Safe Management Plan?

Alpine Winter Festival will be operating under an approved Covid Management plan. All attendees must check in with the provided SA Gov Covid Safe QR Code.
- Is the festival accessibility friendly?

Yes, the majority of our festival is accessible via wheelchair and mobility scooter. Our friendly staff will always be ready to assist where needed.
- Are we pet friendly?

Yes, we welcome all four-legged friends, great or small!
